This Privacy Policy explains how Gideon (“Gideon”, “we”, “us”), operated by Jyngle Technologies Private Limited (operating as Gideon), an entity incorporated in India, collects and uses information when you use our website and services. Questions: audit@gideonhq.io.

What we collect

Contact details you provide — your work email address.
CloudTrail exports you upload — AWS CloudTrail management-event logs. These record which API calls happened in your account; they are not your files, data, or credentials.
Payment information for paid plans — processed by Paddle (see below). We do not see or store full card details.
Basic technical data — standard request logs needed to operate and secure the site.

How we use it

To generate your triage report and provide, operate, and support the service.
To communicate with you about your report, account, and billing.
To process subscription payments through our payment provider.

Your uploaded logs

We use your CloudTrail export solely to generate your report. We delete uploaded logs within 7 days. We never sell them and never share them, except with the sub-processors below who help us deliver the service. We never access your AWS environment — the service runs only on the read-only export you send.

Sub-processors

Cloudflare — website hosting and encrypted file storage.
Anthropic — AI model used to analyze your logs and produce the report.
Paddle — payment processing and Merchant of Record for paid plans (Paddle privacy).

Retention

Uploaded logs: deleted within 7 days. Account and contact data: kept while your account is active or as needed to comply with legal obligations, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Your rights

Depending on your location (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email audit@gideonhq.io and we will respond within a reasonable time.

International transfers

We are based in India and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest and prompt deletion of uploaded logs. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above will change. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
